Offering around-the-clock service to customers on a worldwide basis, our main focus has always been and remains to provide safe, efficient transportation and high-quality service. Many major oil companies and oil traders cover part of their transportation requirements under contract with Heidmar-controlled vessels.

Management Announcement

Tim Brennan announced on April 29th the promotion of Greg Kornilov to the newly created role of General Manager of Heidmar's Global Commercial Team.  The responsibility of this role will include the management of Chartering, Operations, Marine Risk, Bunkers and Claims Departments.  Tim is also pleased to announce that Greg has been appointed as a member of the Executive Committee.  Join us in congratulating Greg in his new role.

 

Ben Ognibene promotion to Managing Director of Projects

Tim Brennan announced on January 26th that Ben Ognibene will assume the position of Managing Director of the Projects Department.  Ben has been instrumental in the development and growth of Heidmar pools since his arrival in 2004, first as the Managing Director of Sigma Tankers and subsequently Blue Fin Tankers, and is currently in the process of starting the VLCC pool (Seawolf Tankers).  The transition from Jerry Townsend to Ben will occur over the first half of 2010 and Ben will officially assume the position of Managing Director on June 1st.  Jerry will continue to work on business development, as well as on various corporate projects and will remain on the Executive Committee.

Executive Committee Member Appointed

Tim Brennan is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Ognibene to the Executive Committee at Heidmar.  This responsibility will be in addition to his new role as Head of Pools/Projects, which will commence in June.  Ben has been with Heidmar for six years and we look forward to having him on the Committee.  Please join us in congratulating Ben.

Erin Flink will be taking on new responsibilities in 2010 for managing the development, modification, review and implementation of reporting methods and controls, policies and procedures.  Erin has been with Heidmar since May 2007 and we congratulate her on this new assignment.

 

New Hire - Singapore

On June 1st, Adrian Mok will join the Singapore Office in the new role of IT Systems Administrator in the Far East.  Adrian brings with him 10 years of professional IT experience.  He possesses a diverse technical background and has held various IT positions with his most recent role as IT Engineer with the Franklin Offshore Group.  Join us in welcoming Adrian on board.

 

New Hire - Singapore

On June 7th, Florence Zhuang joined the Singapore Office with the role of Office Administrator. Florence has ten years experience in administration including four and half years within the transportation industry working with Advance Container Lines Pte Ltd., Jardine Shipping Agencies and CWT Globelink. Join us in welcoming Florence on board.

 

New Hire - Norwalk

On June 1st, Kelly Adler joined that Accounting Department as a Disbursement Analyst.  Kelly is a recent graduate from Iona College's Hagan School of Business with a BBA in Finance and Economics.  Kelly's worked as an intern in the Treasury Department of Stolt-Nielsen for two years while attending school full-time.  Join us in welcoming Kelly on board.

On June 1st, Matt Richards was promoted to an Accountant role in Pool Accounting.  Matt previously performed disbursement functions since the date he joined Heidmar in June of 2009.  Congratulations to Matt in his achievement.
