Corporate Citizenship

“We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.” — Winston Churchill.

Helping Hands

Heidmar encourages employees to participate in community activities through company sponsored volunteer programs as well as individual projects.

Employees who volunteer their time with not-for-profits can request a donation to that charity.

Volunteer opportunities are made available to employees either in teams or on their own.

Recent Volunteering Activities

  • Community Center – Heidmar bakes, wraps and delivers goods to the local community center over the weekend.
  • Homeless Shelter – Heidmar packages baked goods into individual servings to be distributed at the homeless shelter pantry in South Norwalk. With the chilly weather in the air, the shelter was crowded with individuals and children happy to receive home baked brownies, cookies and cupcakes.
  • Care Packages – Children's Back to School care packages are being assembled in time for start of the new school season late in August. Clothes, school supplies and donations are being accepted.
  • Past events – Millbrook Playground Project, Walk for the Cure, Special Olympics, Food Drive, Back to School Clothes Drive.
