Blue Fin Adds to Growing Suezmax Fleet

Heidmar is pleased to announce the addition of the 2011-built, 166,164 deadweight “Afroditi” to its Suezmax pool, Blue Fin Tankers. The vessel will deliver in the US Gulf, ideally positioned for a long cross-hemisphere laden voyage to the Pacific.
Blue Fin has experienced a growth spurt this year adding six vessels, including three newbuildings, to its fleet. The pool is now 22 vessels with an average age of about ten years.
Heidmar’s performance, transparency and long-term relationship management have helped attract new and returning owners into its pools as market participants cope with a seasonally weak freight environment.
