Emarat Maritime Two Newbuildings joins Sigma Pool
Dubai’s Emarat Maritime has confirmed to Heidmar that it will place its two newbuildings, M/T Dubai Beauty and M/T Dubai Brilliance, into the Sigma Pool. The ships will join the Pool in early December raising the total number of ships in the Pool to 46.
We are pleased to welcome these two newbuilding into the Pool. The two ships are fully epoxy coated giving the Pool 18 LR2’s, making Sigma one of the world’s largest LR2 operators.
Emarat Maritime has been a Member of Sigma Tankers since 2006, and with the addition of these ships they will have four ships in the Pool.
Hansa Shipping Joins Heidmar's Sigma Pool
We are pleased to announce that Hansa Shipping of Hamburg, Germany will become a member of Heidmar’s Sigma Pool with the contribution of two of their Aframaxes, the ‘HS Carmen’ and ‘HS Medea’, (113,000 mt dwt built in 2003 at Hyundai Samho Shipyard).
Hansa has been a member of Heidmar’s Suezmax Pool, Bluefin Tankers, since July 2009 with its ‘HS Alcina, (160,000 mt dwt built in 2001). We are happy to welcome such a valued partner to Sigma Tankers.
