New Appointment - Norwalk

On July 1, Capt Mohan Muppidi joins the Norwalk office as Manager of Marine Risk Management reporting to Capt John Hill.

Capt Mohan will be involved in efforts to manage Marine Risk, including Vetting Management, and administration of various quality programs.  He has worked at Torm USA and OMI after coming shore side as Master for Shipping Corporation of India.

New Appointment - London

On July 7, Russell Fernandes will be joining Heidmar's Operations Group as a Deepsea Operator in the London office.  Russell sailed as a Chief Officer with Teekay Corporation prior to going ashore for 8 years in their operations area.  Russell has a post graduate degree in Energy, Trade & Finance.

New Appointment - Norwalk

On June 29, Alina Smolitsky will be joining the Disbursement Group in the Norwalk office.  Alina is a recent graduate from Bryant University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentration in Finance and Applied Economics.

Interns in Norwalk Office

Welcome to the following interns who have joined us in the Norwalk Office.

Saket Kharkar, a third year student at McGill University in Montreal studying Accounting and Finance, who is working in the Pool Accounting Department under the tutelage of Laura Houser. 

Nedim Umur, a graduate from the University of Virginia with a bachelor degree in Systems Engineering and Economics, who is working in the Freight and Risk Management Department under the tutelage of Per Hielmann.
