Executive Committee

Pankaj Khanna has served as Chief Executive Officer of Heidmar since 2019 and has over 35 years of experience in maritime transportation, offshore oil & gas asset owning and service businesses and has held executive positions in various publicly listed entities. Prior to joining Heidmar, Mr. Khanna was the Chief Executive Officer of Ocean Rig UDW Inc. (formerly NYSE: ORIG), an Athens-based operator of semi-submersible oil platforms and underwater drillships, and Pioneer Marine Inc. (OSLO-OTC: PNRM), an Oslo-listed, Athens-based dry bulk company specializing in geared tonnage. He also served as Chief Operating Officer at Dry Ships Inc. (formerly NYSE: DRYS), an Athens-based owner and operator of dry bulk, tanker and gas carrier vessels, and as Vice President of Strategic Development at Teekay Shipping (NYSE: TK), a Bermuda-headquartered owner and operator of crude and product tankers. Mr. Khanna graduated from Blackpool and the Fylde College, Fleetwood Nautical Campus and also received a postgraduate diploma in International Trade and Transport from London Metropolitan University.

Andreas Konialidis combines over two decades of experience in the commercial shipping industry, with particular expertise in the tanker sector. Mr. Konialidis is currently Head of Tanker Chartering at Heidmar and the Managing Director of Curzon Maritime Ltd., a brokerage and consultancy firm based in London where he has developed and overseen chartering activities and projects across many segments of the industry. Mr. Konialidis has also previously served as Director of Crude Carriers Corp, a NYSE-listed company. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Plymouth in Maritime Business and Maritime Law. 

Kalliopi has over two decades of experience in commercial shipping (Dry Bulk/RO-RO/Tankers) with expertise in insurance, claims, charter party and contract disputes. Prior to her current position Kalliopi has served as Director and VP of TBS Shipping; a NASDAQ -listed company. She also worked as Risk Manager for Liberty Maritime Corp, a U.S flag shipping company. She was an adjunct Professor at Suny Maritime College and a research associate in Naval Architecture Dept of UofM. She holds an LL.M in Maritime Law from London Metropolitan University and an MS in International Transportation Management from SUNY Maritime College.

Justin joined Chevron on the shipping grad scheme working his way across all of the chartering sectors, from specialized, CPP, LPG, Fuel oils and finally the crude desk concentrating on West Africa and Black Sea exports. He joined Heidmar in 2016 as a freight trader on the Aframax desk and moved up to Pool Director in 2019. 

Deepak has over 30 years of experience in shipping, having worked at sea on bulk carriers and tankers as deck officer for 10 years and moved to commercial shipping operations working for companies such as Frontline, Kingfish Trading UK Ltd, Heidmar UK Ltd and recently with Union Maritime Ltd, where he was Head of Commercial Operations, responsible for a fleet of over 55 ships trading worldwide. He then left Union Maritime Ltd to return back to Heidmar UK Ltd as Head of Operations. Deepak holds a Master’s degree in International Maritime Studies from Southampton Solent University, UK.
